Sunlight Air Celebrates Seven Years of Connecting Philippine Islands with Anniversary Seat Sale and Customer Festivities

MANILA — Boutique carrier Sunlight Air is celebrating its 7th anniversary with special seat sale promotions and a series of customer appreciation activities, reaffirming its commitment to providing convenient, comfortable, and affordable air travel across some of the Philippines' most sought-after island destinations.

As part of its anniversary celebration, travelers can enjoy one-way base fares for as low as ₱99 to all Sunlight Air destinations during the promotional booking period from July 22 to 23, 2026. Passengers may also receive 15 percent off on Value and Plus fares by using the promotional code "7SOARING."

Beyond discounted fares, Sunlight Air is bringing the celebration closer to travelers through interactive anniversary events scheduled on July 21 and 22 at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport and Fuente Osmeña Park, where visitors can participate in fun-filled activities, games, and prize giveaways.

In a statement, Sunlight Air Chief Executive Officer Ryna Brito-Garcia expressed pride in the airline's journey over the past seven years, highlighting its distinction as the country's only boutique airline.

According to Garcia, the airline has successfully navigated major industry challenges—including the COVID-19 pandemic and fluctuating fuel prices—while remaining committed to delivering a premium travel experience centered on customer comfort and service excellence.

She emphasized that Sunlight Air continues to uphold the qualities that have earned the trust of its passengers, including its no-overbooking policy, more spacious legroom, complimentary in-flight snacks, and its dedicated focus on serving domestic island destinations.

Since commencing operations, Sunlight Air has steadily expanded its network and now operates daily flights from its Clark hub to Caticlan, Siargao, and Coron, as well as from Cebu to Coron, Siargao, and Siquijor, utilizing its modern fleet of ATR 72-600 and ATR 72-700 aircraft.

The airline's continued growth reflects the increasing demand for domestic tourism and regional connectivity, supporting local economies while making some of the country's most beautiful island destinations more accessible to Filipino and international travelers alike.

As Sunlight Air marks another milestone, the airline reaffirms its vision of delivering personalized boutique service, strengthening tourism, and connecting more people to the natural beauty and vibrant communities across the Philippine archipelago.
