76-Year-Old Player Bags ?2M Jackpot in PAGCOR Nationwide Bingo Event

MANILA – A 76-year-old pensioner struck it big after winning the lone ₱2 million must-go jackpot during the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation “₱1K for ₱2M” nationwide linked bingo event held on March 29.

The lucky winner, a regular player at Casino Filipino Olongapo, clinched the top prize during the event hosted at the newly renovated Casino Filipino Angeles.

The bingo event was played simultaneously across several Casino Filipino branches nationwide, including those in Bacolod, Cebu, Iloilo, Ilocos Norte, Mactan, Tagaytay, and other key locations. Participating bingo venues and partner establishments also joined, expanding the event’s reach across the country.

In total, ₱2.9 million in tax-free prizes was awarded across 10 regular games, with an additional ₱600,000 distributed during special rounds such as warm-up, speedy, and U Pick ‘Em 8 games.

Alejandro Tengco congratulated the winners and highlighted the enduring popularity of bingo among Filipinos.

He thanked participants for their continued support, noting that winners emerging from various locations demonstrate the nationwide appeal of PAGCOR’s linked bingo events.

The event also featured entertainment performances from local talents, adding to the festive atmosphere for attendees.

PAGCOR announced that the next “₱1K for ₱2M” nationwide linked bingo event is set for June 14, 2026, once again to be held at Casino Filipino Angeles.
