Philippines Showcases Culture, Creativity, and Warmth at World Travel Market London 2025

MANILA – The Philippines is taking center stage once again at the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025, one of the most prestigious global tourism events, held from November 4 to 6 at ExCeL London in the United Kingdom.

According to the Department of Tourism (DOT), the country’s participation reinforces its commitment to strengthening its position as a leading Asian destination amid the robust revival of global travel.

Leading the Philippine delegation are Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco and Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles, who will showcase the country’s vibrant culture, natural beauty, and world-class hospitality before more than 43,000 international delegates and industry leaders.

“Our participation in the World Travel Market London is a celebration of the Filipino spirit — creative, resilient, and full of heart,” Secretary Frasco said.
“In line with the vision of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., we are ready to build partnerships that open opportunities for our tourism stakeholders, uplift communities, and position the Philippines as a tourism powerhouse in Asia.”

The 330-square-meter Philippine pavilion will provide visitors with a multisensory experience that features traditional hilot (Filipino massage), local coffee from Benguet, Batangas, and Davao del Sur, and immersive presentations of the country’s iconic destinations including Banaue Rice Terraces, Cebu, Bohol, Bicol, Palawan, Batangas, Aklan, and South Cotabato.

“Through this experience, we bring a piece of home to London — from our timeless healing traditions to the distinct aroma of our local coffee,” said Nograles.
“More than the sights and sounds, we want visitors to feel the warmth, creativity, and soul of the Filipino people. This is an invitation to rediscover what makes the Philippines truly unforgettable.”

By joining WTM London 2025, the Philippines aims to expand its footprint in the European travel market, attract new tourism investments, and establish stronger collaborations with tour operators, digital platforms, and travel media — driving the country toward sustainable and inclusive tourism growth.
