Mixed oil price adjustments set Tuesday; LPG prices down in June

MANILA – Oil firms will adjust pump prices effective June 3.

Cleanfuel, Caltex, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Shell will increase gasoline and diesel prices by 40 centavos per liter and diesel by 30 centavos per liter.

On the other hand, Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell will slash kerosene prices by 10 centavos.

With these price movements, gasoline prices have increased for three straight weeks, while kerosene prices have declined for two consecutive weeks.

Meanwhile, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices declined in June, with prices of the product decreasing for four straight months.

Petron slashed LPG prices by PHP1.75 per kg. while Solane-branded LPG declined by PHP1.64 per kg.

This adjustment brought down prices of 11-kg. LPG cylinder between PHP18.04 to PHP19.25.

The Department of Energy said current gasoline prices in Metro Manila range from PHP44 to PHP73.20 per liter; diesel, from PHP44 to PHP67.47 per liter; and kerosene, from PHP67.70 to PHP82.94 per liter.

LPG prices last month ranged between PHP845 and PHP1,116 for 11-kg. cylinder.
